AUSTRALIA
Police: You can also report to your local police station or through Crimestoppers at 1800 333 000. You can also get in touch with the police through 131 444.

National Anti-Scam Centre/ScamWatch: The National Anti-Scam Centre has been set up to coordinate government, law enforcement and the private sector to combat scams. It builds on the work of the ACCC’s Scamwatch service.

ReportCyber: You can also report a scam to them through their official website which is mainly a consumer & business reporting site. 


INDIA
The Police: Visit the local police station to report any scams or cybercrimes. Be sure to bring as much information as possible. The Cyber Crime Helpline is 1930.

The National Cybercrime Reporting Portal– They facilitate victims/complainants to report cybercrime in India. 

CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team)-You can report all manner of cyber crimes and online scams here as they deal with cyber security threats and operations in India.

The Union Home Ministry Helpline– You can dial the helpline at 155260 to report cybercrimes and online scams. The helpline is manned by state police and can be found in 7 states & union territories.

National Consumer Helpline– Consumers can file a complaint against businesses here.  You can call to register your grievance at 1800-11-4000 or 1915 or SMS this Number 8800001915.


IRELAND
You can get help at Crime Victims Helpline which is available countrywide and offers confidential services. Reach them by calling freephone helpline number 116 006.

FraudSMART– This is an initiative of the Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) that raise consumer and business awareness of the latest financial fraud activity and trends.

The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB)– They focus on the more complex and international and organized crime cases.

NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand Police-You can contact the New Zealand Police by phoning their non-emergency number at 105 or by contacting your local police station to report fraud.

NetSafe-New Zealanders can get information and support from Netsafe, a non-profit organization that promotes online safety. By visiting Netsafe’s website, you can report online scams.

Serious Fraud Office (SFO)– You can report serious investment scams here as they are the primary law enforcement body responsible for investigating and prosecuting major or complicated financial crimes.

Department of Internal Affairs– Forward any fraudulent email and any other pertinent information to scam@reportspam.co.nz.

CERT NZ– You can report to them identity and phishing scams as they take action against scammers and fraudsters.

SINGAPORE
If you have fallen victim to a scam or have received a suspicious message or call, it’s essential to report it as soon as possible to the appropriate authorities.

Singapore Police Force Anti-Scam Centre: To counter the trend of growing online scams, Singapore Police Force Anti-Scam Centre (ASC) was set up in 2019. The ASC is the “nerve center” for investigating scam-related crimes and its focus is to disrupt scammers’ operations and help mitigate victims’ losses. Its four core activities are Enforcement, Engagement, Engineering and Education. ASC works closely together with more than 20 stakeholders comprising banks, fintech companies, telecommunication companies and online marketplaces in its fight against scams.

Members of the public can visit www.scamalert.sg or call the Anti-Scam Hotline at 1800-722-6688. Anyone with information on such scams may call the Police hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

The National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC): The NCPC works closely together with the ASC to combat fraud. The NCPC, a non-profit organization, is committed to promoting public awareness about crime and to propagate the concept of self-help in crime prevention. The Council comprises representatives from the commercial and industrial sectors, as well as from the public sector and the Singapore Police Force (SPF). They can be contacted on the Anti-Scam Hotline: 1800-722-6688 and the ‘X Ah Long’ Hotline: 1800-924-5664

NCPC has launched several initiatives to combat scams. ScamAlert.sg offers scam information and has had more than 500,000 visitors in 2020. In 2020, NCPC also launched ScamShield, an iPhone app developed in collaboration with Open Government Products to block scam calls and text messages.

UK
If you are a victim of fraud or cybercrime in the UK, these are some of the places where you can report your case;

ActionFraud– Those living in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland can report a scam by dialing 0300 123 2040 while those in Scotland can do so by calling 101.

Citizens Advice You can also report a scam here where they gather all the information and pass it to the Trading Standards for further action. 

National Trading Standards eCrime Team (NTSeT)– They not only monitor and investigate scams, but they also offer tips on how best to avoid scams.

National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC): The NCSC provides guidance on cybersecurity and may be interested in reports of cyber-related incidents.

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA): If the scam involves financial services or investments, you can report it to the Financial Conduct Authority.
